Marko Filipovic

Marko Filipovic is a creative and detail-oriented sound designer with extensive experience in crafting and implementing immersive audio for video games, films, and television productions. His passion for delivering authentic and engaging soundscapes has established him as a leading professional in the audio-visual industry.

• Sound Design for Video Games: Proficient in creating sound effects for UI, ambient soundscapes, character effects, and action sequences.

As a Professor of Audio-Visual Arts at Gymnasium Pirot since 2021, Marko has been teaching sound design and post-production techniques while mentoring students on various audio-visual projects. At Mad Head Games, where he has been working since 2022, he contributed to the acclaimed game “Scars Above” for PC and consoles, focusing on ambient sound, character audio, and UI elements. In 2024, Marko worked as a sound designer and mixer for the feature film “Thanks, Enjoy!”, tailored for theatrical release, and in 2023, he handled post-production sound design for the movie “Woodbridge.” During his time with Miracle Dojo (2016–2019), he created all sound assets for the mobile game “Karate Do,” including combat effects, UI sounds, and in-game ambiance. Additionally, his collaboration with Shadow Production and the Faculty of Dramatic Arts provided extensive experience in sound editing and design for television series and student films.

Marko Filipovic holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, specializing in Sound Recording and Design. He actively follows the latest trends in audio technologies and innovations. Besides his professional achievements, he is also a passionate illusionist and magician. He is fluent in English and Serbian and holds a certificate in music business.
